As part of Move On, we offer structured employability training courses for people who are interested in gaining qualifications and skills in a wood workshop.

Building Brighter Futures

Building Brighter Futures is an eight week employability course for young people in Edinburgh who are interested in gaining skills and qualifications in a wood workshop.

The course is split between the Move On Edinburgh office and our wood workshop.

Young people can gain:

• SQA core skills
• SQA employability award
• Certified manual handling training
• CSCS card
• Ongoing employability support
• One-to-one person centred planning for next steps
• Practical learning and training in a wood workshop

Young people

The Building Brighter Futures course is suitable for young people who are 16-21 years old and at stages 1 and 2 of the Strategic Skills Pipeline.
