We have an exciting job vacancy for an Operational Manager to lead our social enterprise. This full-time permanent position has a starting salary of £30,407.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing the operational team – including planning, scheduling, recruitment, training, and supporting volunteers and staff
  • Maximise the income and sustainability of the enterprise
  • Work with the organisations employability team to ensure strong employability opportunities and training are being offered
  • Managing and maximising the service budget
  • Work with Move On’s marketing team to ensure the consistent promotion of MOWR products and initiatives
  • Manage all stock, including stock purchasing
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to the Director of Operations, CEO, and Board
  • Maintain and update policies, ensuring these are adhered to by staff and volunteers

Requirements for this role

  • Two years’ management experience in a social enterprise or similar organisation
  • Experience of growing income/earnings
  • An understanding of the importance of H&S, and demonstrable experience of managing a safe working environment
  • Strong relationship building skills, and an ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Current clean driver’s license
  • Membership of PVG scheme (or willingness to join)
